We didn't have any insullation in the walls, but I think the massive amount of spider webs we discovered probably helped keep parts of the walls warm.

Holy crap! It looks like a mess now, but don't worry. Pretty soon you'll have pics up there that will make us all green with envy! It'll be fabulous!
