poladroid

I know I have raved about this totally fabulous little bit of free software before, but forgive me, I must gush again... after I took these photos of my roses last night and downloaded them I played with some of them in poladroid and well I just really LOVE this software!

it takes an average photo like this where I was beginning to lose light
and turns it into this (complete with random fingerprints - which is a setting you can choose)

and this, which is pretty enough

but makes it so much more romantic looking
this one with too much flash and a little crooked
into this, it looks like a snapshot from the 60's
and this one that I like just the way it is
makes it into this which is a totally different take on it

McKenzie has decided that although she doesn't perhaps like to run and catch the frizbee out of mid air as Cooper does...

she does like to chase after him just to help him carry it back to us, because she's just that thoughtful...

she also likes to lay out like a cat and pounce as he gets close

Cooper makes friends but tries to play it so cool - so McKenzie, being the thoughtful one humours this little guy by chasing him around and around and around
and then she gets le tired...
and Cooper is the happy chappy :)

I was so sad when I heard that polaroid were no longer making polaroid film and keep meaning to buy some for my polaroid camera before it all goes, but it is so expensive and then there is the decision of when should I use it? I mean how do you choose what photo to save it for??? so you can imagine how happy I was to find this amazing little FREE program!

now you can take cool photos and give them that retro, vintage look, fingerprints, scratches and all! for hours of fun!
