it was just the most beautiful weekend here in California, definitely convertible weather! we were very productive in the garden over the weekend and I'll post some pics soon, but for now here are some spring images to make you feel good :)

it's Friday, it's spring and it is the most beautiful day here today! I am SO happy it's friday and I get to spend the weekend with my favourite peeps! we're going to be doing some gardening, some wedding planning, and just generally hanging out.

I'm a little under the weather today, and am glad that the weather is cold and gloomy as I plan to snuggle up on the couch watching mad men with my wonderful husband-to-be who does wonderful things like brings me ice cream, makes me mac and cheese and is the sweetest man I know...

a gift from my garden

look what I found in our garden yesterday? I am not sure what these flowers are called, but they are spectacular! anyone know their name?
