so sleepy...

we were woken up at 4am today by the house alarm beeping just so we'd know the power had gone out... and when I finally got back to sleep about an hour later, waking up was hard to do... Today is the first big storm of the season here in California (Californian's are SO dramatic about their weather btw) and the wind is blowing and the rain is coming down. I really want to be snowed in (per our Toronto days) and light our fire, bring out the board games, eat soup and chill out trapped in our lovely house with all day... sigh - but no, I have a 9am meeting and Californian's don't know how to deal with rain and driving...
