I've been wanting to make a really special kitchen island and have been desperately searching for the perfect buffet or credenza to transform and ended up finding these perfect vintage red French doors! They were a steal at $299 each and the money I was going to spend on buying a boring vinyl sliding glass door for the back patio will now be spent on building a frame and making these lovelies into my new back entry. They're over 8 feet tall and will be visible as soon as you come in through the front door and I'm hoping they'll make a spectacular centerpiece. The quest for the perfect island continues, but I can check "awesome backdoor" off the list.
