is it sad that I am excited about laundry appliances?

today my new washer and dryer arrive and I am excited!

After researching lots of brands, asking around, going to the scratch and dent stores, visiting retail stores and looking online for deals, I got exactly what I wanted (in the colour I wanted) much cheaper than I could buy the boring white ones in the store from here. Gotta love google!

My sad laundry room won't know what hit it when these babies go in. I didn't go with the pedestal drawers as I thought they were a bit of a waste of money and I want to make a nice folding bench on the top of the washer and dryer like this
